John Hopkins

Regina, Saskatchewan

Mr. Hopkins was appointed to the SaskEnergy Board of Directors in May 2021 and is a member of the Environmental, Social and Governance Committee.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce where he manages all aspects of the Chamber, including strategic planning, employee and member relations, media relations, research, and government liaison at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. Prior to his career with the Chamber, which began in 2001, Mr. Hopkins was the Executive Director of Regina’s Market Square Downtown Business Improvement District.

Mr. Hopkins is active in the community, serving on numerous boards and committees, including the Reconciliation Regina Board, Co-Chair of Smudge Walk Regina, Past Chair of the Canadian Chambers of Commerce Executives of Canada, and the City of Regina SAF/Development Levy Working Group.
