SaskEnergy increase approved for public safety and infrastructure investments

Today the Government of Saskatchewan approved an increase to SaskEnergy’s Delivery Service Rate of 3.6 per cent to begin November 1, 2017. On average, the increase to residential customers will be an additional $1.65 per month or about $20 annually. Safety patrols prepare for summer construction season

The Sask 1 st Call Safety Patrols will enter their third year of operation on May 2 nd, and will continue promoting safe digging across the province until the construction season ends Oct 31 st. SaskEnergy to close cashier services in Regina and Saskatoon

Closures to be implemented February 1 st, 2017 SaskEnergy will discontinue cashiering services at its Regina and Saskatoon service centre locations in February due to a continual drop in customer use. Daily natural gas consumption in the province has again surpassed the previous usage record. Daily gas consumption numbers are tracked over a 24-hour period from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. – a new record of 1.59 petajoules (PJ) was set today.
