SaskEnergy Annual Report (2020-21)
SaskEnergy achieved strong financial and operational results in 2020-21 while maintaining its lowest commodity rate in more than 20 years. The Corporation reported net income from operations of $59 million and declared a dividend of $21 million to Crown Investments Corporation (CIC).
In 2020-21, SaskEnergy continued to invest in programs and rebates to help customers reduce utility costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions and improve carbon monoxide safety at home. Its core operations were supported by an $89-million investment in safety and integrity programs across the province. SaskEnergy spent $319 million in Saskatchewan to support the local economy, representing nearly 70 per cent of its total purchases.
